Costa Rica La Pastora Tarrazú

$ 16.00
Costa Rica La Pastora Tarrazú comes to us from the Tarrazú cooperative in the heart of Costa Rica's most famous and densely planted coffee growing region. This is a classic Tarrazú in a lot of ways: it's a high grown coffee, grown in volcanic soil at over 3900 feet! The rich soil and high altitude mean that the beans develop more slowly and make for a much denser flavor profile with clean straightforward flavors. These coffees are known as "classicly complete," meaning they are crisp, medium-bodied with great flavor, and a fine, satisfying aroma. This is a savory cup of coffee with wonderful complexities.

The aroma is sweet. The cup is smooth and creamy. I am tasting custard/flan notes. The finish is smooth and dry with notes of cocoa.

Our latest coffee from Costa Rica is sure to please and will brew well from a basic drip coffee all the way to espresso!

Aroma: Earthy, Sweet Sugarcane
Body:  Thick, Smooth and Balanced, Coffee Candy, Dark Chocolate
Finish:  Smooth, Baker's Chocolate, Hint of Sweetness
