Costa Rica La Pastora Tarrazú
Costa Rica La Pastora Tarrazú comes to us from the Tarrazú cooperative in the heart of Costa Rica's most famous and densely planted coffee-growing region. This is a classic Tarrazú in many ways: it's a high-grown coffee grown in volcanic soil over 3900 feet! The rich soil and high altitude mean that the beans develop slowly and make for a much denser flavor profile with clean, straightforward flavors. As a result, these coffees are known as "classicly complete," They are crisp, medium-bodied with great taste and a delicate, satisfying aroma. This is a delicious cup of coffee with beautiful complexities.
The aroma of Costa Rica La Pastora Tarrazúis sweet, and the cup is smooth and creamy, with custard/flan flavors. The finish is smooth and dry with notes of cocoa.
Our latest coffee from Costa Rica is sure to please and will brew well from a basic drip coffee to espresso!
