Mexico Oaxaca Pluma San Agustín is a low-acid coffee that hits the mark with notes of sweet chocolate, caramel, green apple, and a hint of almond astringency. The aroma is that of sweet almond pastry, pleasant and uplifting.
We love washed mild Mexican coffees; they are very subtle and highly complex. Washed coffees are among the world's best due to the meticulous care required in processing the coffee cherries, and this is no exception.

Mexico Oaxaca Pluma San Agustin Loxicha Grainpro Coffee is sourced from Calguera Gomez S.A. De C.V. and thirty-seven surrounding family-owned farms located within the municipality of San Agustín Loxicha in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. Coffee producers use their micro-mill to process harvested cherries, allowing meticulous care in depulping, fermenting, and drying the coffee.
Coffee is cultivated on farms that average 10 to 24 acres in size. The Calguera Gomez company aims to organize and support producers with access to the best agricultural practices and consequently pay high prices for higher-quality coffee production.

I cold brew coffee and drink it iced and black , but this coffee did not work for me. There is an unidentifiable flavor and a bit of smoke that I don’t like, and it is slightly acidic for a cold brew. I hate to say it because I love this company and have never had this experience with one of their coffees. I have been a customer for 9 years and one batch of coffee that I didn’t like won’t change my loyalty one bit.

This roast is so so good! Picked it up at the Poco Market one weekend and have been hooked ever since. I moved away from the area, so this was my first time ordering from OBR online. They shipped it quickly and even added my name and the date they roasted the beans for me on the packaging! Such a sweet gesture. Safe to say this is my new coffee supplier. 🙌🏼
