San Ramon, only about an hour from the capital, is known for some pretty big dignitaries, from presidents to poets. There are cigar factories, a vibrant culture that includes a weekly farmers' market, festivals, even wellness spas.
The aroma has big sweet notes of toasted sugar, it's slightly floral with the scent of orange blossoms, and those fancy glace candied orange slices.

The cup – wow – this is a creamy, fuller-bodied coffee than most Costas. The flavor is sweet and delicate, with notes of hot chocolate with marshmallows.
The finish just ties everything together perfectly. It's lingering with sugarcane and orange notes – and chocolate all the way throughout.

Producers collaborate with an export company called Café de Altura de San Ramón Especial S.A. to gain access to technical support for best agricultural practices. The partnership has helped to improve quality, increase earnings from coffee sales, and strengthen family livelihoods.
