Colombia Huila Valencia

$ 18.00

One Real 16oz. Pound

This coffee rocks!

Huila Valencia of Colombia is my favorite producer of Colombian coffee. This is the creamiest and smoothest washed mild coffee and the standard by which all others should be judged. The fresh grind is aromatic and fruity, even a bit sweet smelling. It has the cherry and the spice.

However, the sweetness of the grind dissipates in the cup to roasted barley and graham cracker. The lingering mouthfeel is very smooth: the whole effect of the coffee is smooth.

Colombian coffee is true specialty coffee.

Aroma: Sweet, Ripe Coffee Cherry with Brown Sugar Overtones
Body: Well Balanced and Smooth
Cup: Toasted Barley Grain
Finish: Bright, Flavorful Cinnamon Graham Cracker

Coffee bliss

I’ve been getting my coffee from Seth and his crew since around 2005. Even while serving in Afganistan in 2007 and again 2011-12, I ordered my coffee from OBR. If it’s good enough to drink in a war zone, then it’s good enough for my everyday fix. Didn’t go to war without it but prefer to drink it peacefully. I don’t see myself drinking any other coffee for the next 20 years. I think that says it all.
