It has been a while since we have been able to offer coffee from Nicaragua Dipilto! Finally, we can enjoy this gem. This coffee has some really interesting and complex notes, yet it is solid and consistent from start to finish. Challenge your nose and palate with this sophisticated yet very approachable coffee.
The aroma is woody and dense, with some oak. The cup is earthy, oaky, and mossy, with a black tea astringency. The clean, lingering finish has notes of spice and port wine. This is a coffee for the connoisseur and novice alike.

Nicaragua Dipilto SHG EP is sourced from family-owned farms organized around Promotora de Desarrollo Cooperativo de Las Segovias (PRODECOOP), an umbrella cooperative operating in the departments of Esteli, Madriz, and Nueva Segovia, Nicaragua. PRODECOOP operates a centrally located dry mill facility and cupping lab where coffee is received, processed, and selected for export. In addition to marketing coffee internationally, PRODECOOP provides producers with financing, training, and technical assistance to improve coffee quality. PRODECOOP strives to improve coffee producers and their family's quality of life through projects promoting income diversification and education.
